Marieke Flament – Managing Director for Europe, Circle
Mrs Flament brings over 10+ years of experience of integrated marketing and customer acquisition for leading consumer and Internet brands in Europe.
Before joining Circle, Mrs Flament was the Vice President of Europe Middle East and Africa at (an Expedia Inc company), overseeing a $2B+ revenue business across 33 multi-lingual markets.
Prior to, Mrs Flament was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group based in Paris, and a Regional Financial Analyst for LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) based in Hong Kong.
Mrs Flament holds an MBA from London Business School and a Master of Science from TelecomParisTech.
Ed Cooper - Head of Mobile, Revolut
Ed joined Revolut as the second non-founding employee as Head of Mobile, and helped grow the product to 1.5 million users in under two years. Prior to that worked for CMC Markets, one of the largest CFD / Spread Betting providers in the UK. Keen interested in rapid growth, and use of psychology in marketing and user acquisition, and unique ways to grab press attention. Also moonlights as a successful music composer for television and film with music featured on BBC1 BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, and US networks.

Lucas Friss - Business Development, Cumberland
Lucas Friss is on the Business Development team at Cumberland – a DRW Company, one of the world’s largest liquidity providers in cryptoassets. Lucas joined DRW in 2016 as a trader within a specialised fixed income group and was primarily focused on U.S. Treasury Bonds and
derivatives products. Lucas transitioned to the Cumberland team in 2017 to help support 24-hour trading operations, including trading, onboarding, and relationship management. Lucas recently relocated to London to take on an expanded role, continuing to support trading operations while working with the business development team to identify and attract new counterparties in Europe. Lucas earned a BA in political science from the University of Chicago.
